Focus on the Family won its first George Foster Peabody Award for Focus on the Family Radio Theatre’s Bonhoeffer: The Cost of Freedom drama. This radio drama was one of 34 awards chosen from more than 1,300 entries by the University of Georgia’s Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. The George Foster Peabody Award is considered by many to be the most prestigious recognition of excellence in broadcasting and cable.
