as Father Gilbert, is a best-selling author and acclaimed speaker, whose works include The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass Age 37, Clearing Away The Rubbish, Stress Family Robinson and City of Gold. He performs comedic sketches, poems and dramatic readings throughout Great Britain, Europe, Australia and South Africa. His works have also been adapted and performed in North America.
June Whitfield
as Mrs. Mayhew, is one of Britain’s leading comedy actresses, with a career that spans highly-acclaimed theatrical performances in London’s West End, some of Britain’s most popular radio programs, television series including the Tony Hancock Show, Terry And June and Absolutely Fabulous, and film appearances in four of the Carry On… series, Jude The Obscure and many more. She has been awarded the esteemed Commander Of The British Empire by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the British Comedy of Lifetime Award, and has been inducted into the Royal Television Society’s Hall of Fame.
Bernard Cribbens
as Bill Drake, has been a mainstay of British theatre, television, film and recordings for nearly 50 years. He has appeared in many classic films including The Railway Children and The Wrong Arm of the Law (with Peter Sellers). He has also starred at London’s Royal National Theatre in Guys and Dolls and appeared in TV comedies such as Fawlty Towers. His many story-telling tapes have won major awards around the world. Father Gilbert Mysteries is Bernard’s third outing with Focus On The Family Radio Theatre: he can also be heard as Seneca in Ben-Hur and as The Chief Duffer in C.S. Lewis’ The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

as Mr. Urquhart, is a versatile Scottish character actor who has performed in Shakespeare in Stratford, renowned musicals in London’s West End, and a variety of television programs including Dr. Finlay’s Casebook, Poirot, The Beggar’s Opera, Master of Ballantrae, Taggart, Lovejoy, and The Bill. His films include Mansfield Park and The Others with Nicole Kidman.
