Fighting for Narnia's Life

“‘Two sights I have seen,’ said Farsight. ‘One was Cair Paravel filled with dead Narnians and living Calormenes, the Tisroc’s banner advanced upon your royal battlements, and your subjects flying from the city, this way and that, into the woods. . . . And the other . . . was Roonwit the Centaur lying dead with a Calormene arrow in his side.’”

When a greedy and manipulative ape named Shift finds a lion skin, he persuades Puzzle, Shift his gullible donkey friend, to join him in a plan to get more bananas and oranges. But what starts out as a mere ploy for Shift to eat better suddenly becomes a larger and much more sinister scheme that divides Narnia and lays it open for invasion by its enemies. Chaos and confusion bring terror — and the good creatures of Narnia are in danger of being destroyed.

As young King Tirian of Narnia finds his kingdom disintegrating around him, he calls for the help that has always come when Narnia is in trouble. And help arrives from another world in the form of Eustace and Jill, hero and heroine of The Silver Chair. War breaks out, and Tirian and his loyal comrades must fight for their lives and the survival of Narnia.Jill

It’s the greatest calamity ever to come to Narnia. And even though all hope seems gone, Tirian and his faithful Narnians stand against overwhelming odds. The tidal wave of the enemy sweeps over them, and The Last Battle of Narnia comes to an end no one could have foreseen — one that listeners will long remember.

A faithful adaptation of the C.S. Lewis classic, this audio drama was recorded in London with some of England’s finest actors. This production utilized film-quality sound design and music to create a world that will inspire your imagination.
