ADRIAN PLASS as Father Gilbert—is a best-selling author and acclaimed speaker, whose works include The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass Age 37 3/4, Clearing Away The Rubbish, Stress Family Robinson and City of Gold.
He performs comedic sketches, poems and dramatic readings throughout Great Britain, Europe, Australia and South Africa. His works have also been adapted and performed in North America.
JUNE WHITFIELD as Mrs. Mayhew—is one of Britain’s leading comedy actresses, with a career that spans highly acclaimed theatrical performances in London’s West End and some of Britain’s most popular radio programs. Her appearances on television include the “Tony Hancock Show,” “Terry And June” and “Absolutely Fabulous” with film appearances in four of the “Carry On” series, Jude The Obscure and many more. She has been awarded the esteemed Commander Of The British Empire by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the British Comedy of Lifetime Award and has been inducted into the Royal Television Society’s Hall of Fame.
GEORGE COLE as George Gilbert—George has appeared in such classic British films as Scrooge with Alistair Sim, Too Many Crooks, One Way Pendulum, Laughter in Paradise, Henry V and the famous “St Trinian’s” series. On television he starred as Arthur Daley in “Minder.” His U.S. movies include Cleopatra, Quentin Durward and Mary Reilly.
RICHARD TODD as Father Ross—Richard starred in such renowned British films as A Man Called Peter, The Hasty Heart (for which he was Oscar-nominated as Best Actor), The Longest Day and The Dam Busters. His many other credits include Alfred Hitchcock’s Stage Fright and three Disney family movies: Robin Hood and His Merrie Men, The Sword and the Rose and Rob Roy.
TAMSIN GREIG as Katherine Perry—Tamsin’s varied credits range from the BBC’s legendary radio serial “The Archers” to several of Britain’s most groundbreaking TX comedy series such as “Black Books,” “People Like Us,” “Happiness” and “Green Wing.” Her many dramatic appearances on British TV include “Neverwhere” and “Doctor Who.”
MARIA CHARLES as Aunt Sylvia—Maria’s theatre credits include the original London production of Sandy Wilson’s musical “The Boy Friend.” Her extensive TV and film work includes the title role in Anna for Disney, Widow Corney in “Oliver Twist” for NBC, Aleyanya in “Crime and Punishment” for CBS and Revenge of the Pink Panther.
