Dean Jones as Father Tim Kavanagh
Early in his film career, Dean Jones played featured roles in movies ranging from Jailhouse Rock with Elvis Presley to Under The Yum Yum Tree with Jack Lemmon. He then starred in a highly successful series of family comedies for Disney, including The Love Bug and Herbie Goes to Monte Carlo, Blackbeard's Ghost with Peter Ustinov and That Darn Cat with Hayley Mills. More recently, his films have included Other People's Money, Beethoven and Clear And Present Danger with Harrison Ford. Dean portrayed Charles Colson in the film Born Again, and his remarkable one-man theatre performance Saint John in Exile was filmed for video release. In musical theatre, Dean starred in the Broadway premier of Stephen Sondheim's ground-breaking musical, Company, and recorded the original cast album of the show. He recently co-starred in Hal Prince's epic nationwide tour of Show Boat. Dean is also a concerned activist involved in world hunger and international child care programs. He is founder and president of Christian Rescue Committee which provides "a way of escape for Jews, Christians and others persecuted for their faith."

Pat Starr as Cynthia Coppersmith
A native Texan, actress and singer, Pat is now based in the UK where her many radio appearances include "The Grapes of Wrath," "Auntie Mame" and "The Man Who Came To Dinner." She also works extensively in the theatre, and her credits range from Death Of A Salesman to Plaza Suite. Her films include Reds, Superman III and Four Weddings And A Funeral.

Betsy Blair as Sadie Baxter
Although Betsy started her show-business career as a dancer, she soon found acclaim as an actress in a series of movies for MGM. After marrying Gene Kelly - and taking some time out as a homemaker and mother to their daughter Kerry - she returned to acting. For her performance in the film Marty, Betsy Blair was nominated for an Oscar and won the Best Actress Award at Cannes and also the British Academy Award. In recent years, most of her work has been in European films.

Paul Freeman as Hal Owen
Paul Freeman is best-known in the USA as the dastardly Belloq in Raiders Of The Lost Ark with Harrison Ford and for the continuing role of Doctor Corday in the television series, "ER." Paul has had a long and distinguished career in British theatre including leading roles with the Royal Shakespeare Company, the Royal National Theatre and in London's West End. His films include Samson and Delilah, The Long Good Friday and Who Dares Wins.

Ethan Maccoby as Dooley Barlowe
Ethan was born in Washington, D.C. in 1990. He's acted in a number of plays at school and in community theatres, including Shadowlands and State Fair, but At Home in Mitford marks his professional debut. Shortly after recording it, he won a role in the upcoming Thunderbirds film, and he will also appear soon in a radio play based on Laura Ingalls Wilder "Little House on the Prairie" books.

David Suchet as Peter Jamison
Perhaps best known for his definitive portrayal of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot, David Suchet is a consummate actor who regularly appears on stage (Amadeus), in films (A Perfect Murder, Harry & the Hendersons) and on television ("Moses," "Solomon," "Hunchback of Notre Dame," "Reilly: Ace of Spies"). Mr. Suchet has won such prestigious honors as the Ace Award, the BAFTA Award, the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival and the Critic's Circle Award.
